The short version
- Your audio is sent securely to our speech partner, turned into text, and not kept.
- We never store what you said or what was typed on our servers.
- Transcript history is off by default. If you turn it on, it stays on your own computer.
- You can delete your account and data any time from the app (Account → Delete my account and data).
What we collect
- Your email address, so you can sign in with a one-time code.
- How many seconds you have dictated, so we can count your free minutes. We record the length of each recording, not its content.
- Your license key, if you buy a plan, so we can confirm it is valid.
Who helps us run JustSpeak
- Deepgram turns your speech into text. We ask them not to use your audio to improve their models.
- Resend sends your sign-in codes by email.
- Dodo Payments handles checkout, billing and license keys. We never see your card details.
- Railway hosts our server.
What we never do
- Sell your data.
- Use your recordings or text to train AI.
- Read your screen or the apps you type into.
